Views, Thoughts and Thanks

Dear Mrs.Beauchamp, 

I would like to apologise that this is so late but I would also like to thank you for allowing me to have my work experience with the team in Tracks. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a week experiencing the amazing work that you all do at Two Bridges. I am also so grateful for the things I learnt while being at Two Bridges. I don’t think I can thank you enough for letting me have an insight into all the work you do and into a different side of education away from mainstream teaching. Thank you to you for allowing me to come to Two Bridges as well as a  thank you to the whole team at Tracks for the whole experience.

I can not rate this provision enough under Sue’s Leadership. I feel very strongly that this student would achieve more support AND better grades in Two Bridges. Sue has the students welfare at the forefront of all they do, and I feel young people get better support than in mainstream.

It is not about ‘giving up’ on a student when we refer to Two Bridges, it is about correct identification of the young persons needs and where they are going to be more successful.

Hi Sue,

Just a quick note to thank you and all your staff at Two Bridges for their hospitality yesterday and for the extremely positive and informative meetings for a number of our students. It was disappointing not to get the chance to meet with them all but the meetings for J, M and N were excellent.

To meet with M yesterday, who so proudly showed me her Land Based Studies folder and to meet her teacher was a pleasure. I have not seen M so positive about anything in a long while. Her Mum told me that she absolutely loves being at Two Bridges. Then to hear J and N described as polite, well-mannered and model students was amazing.
