Exit Routes

Keystage 4

Students will be reviewed towards the end of each academic year to see if reintegration to mainstream is appropriate.  Alternatively students transition to Post 16 learning or apprenticeships with the support of our KS4 Pastoral team and ongoing support where needed from the KS5 transition Pastoral Managers.  This support can help ensure the September guarantee route for every student is achieved and also trouble shoot any early issues in the following year.

Students often get in touch to keep us updated of their successes in course and work life and equally make contact if they need our help again in those early years of independent adult life.

Primary Focus

Pupils attending Primary Focus are always on roll of their home mainstream school and only come to us one day per week for the duration of the programme.  They are supported following the intervention with outreach in their home school and we are always open to approach for additional support in the future as many young people will need light touch ongoing support where life is complex of challenging for them.

Focus

Students attend Focus for 5 days of intensive self reflective work and formulate their own plan for improvements and support when they return to their mainstream school.  Staff from the Focus programme then visit them in their home school and offer further support through our outreach programme.  Again we are always open to appraoches for further support as and when required.
